Route Academy ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Route LMS mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.

• Personal Information: Name, email address, and phone number (primarily for authentication, account management, and student records).
• Device Information: Device ID to prevent fraud and bind student check-ins to a single device.
• Location Data (GPS): We require access to your physical location exclusively during class check-ins to verify your physical presence at the specified Route Branch boundaries (e.g., within 200 meters). This data is NOT tracked continuously in the background.
• Camera Access: Camera access is required solely for scanning QR codes at the branch to register your attendance.
• Photo Library Access: Photo library access may be requested only when you choose to upload or change your profile picture inside the App.

2. How We Use Your Data

Route Academy uses the collected data for various educational and administrative purposes:

• To provide and maintain the App's core functionality (e.g., student dashboards, schedules).
• To manage and record student attendance securely automatically.
• To manage your educational enrollment records and groups.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent check-in attempts.
• To communicate with students regarding schedule changes or announcements.

3. Data Retention and Security

The security of your data is important to us. Your data is stored securely in our enterprise databases with encryption protocols. Route Academy retains your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, complying with local educational legal obligations.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or trade your personal information. Your data is only accessible to authorized Route Academy administrators, instructors, and mentors strictly for educational operations.
